Standard Boilerplate (150 Words)
Founded to celebrate Central Indiana's world-class active transportation infrastructure, the INDY100SM is an annual endurance bicycling challenge held on the third Saturday of August. On August 21, 2027, riders will depart from midtown Indianapolis across three official course options: a 25-Mile Community Route, a 62-Mile (100km) Metric Century, and a full 100-Mile Imperial Century.
The courses showcase continuous paved grade separations along the Monon Trail and the Nickel Plate Trail, traversing midtown Indianapolis, Broad Ripple, Carmel, Westfield, and historic Noblesville before sweeping across the expansive agricultural horizons of northern Hamilton and Boone counties. Presented by Pat Jones Optimization and fueled by Hammer Nutrition, the event provides full course mechanical support, chip timing, and community festival finishes.
